Re: Telephone therapy and consulting

The purpose of this memo is to inform you of a service Dr. Nathaniel Branden and Devers Branden are providing, in response to many requests over the years.

For persons living outside Los Angeles and wish to schedule telephone consultations, they can be booked through our office in just the same way that regular in-office appointments are booked. The Brandens have found that, for most of the problems about which they are consulted, they can be fully as effective on the telephone as in the office -- based, now, on twelve years of experience with phone therapy.

While most in-office appointments (although not all) are on Mondays and Tuesdays, phone consultations can be scheduled through the entire week, thus offering clients great flexibility.

Prior to your first appointment, you will be provided with a life-history questionnaire to fill out and, if we do not know you, you will be asked to send a photograph with the returned questionnaire.

Consulting sessions are forty-five minutes. When the appointment is made, you will be given a special number to call (not the regular office number). All telephone appointments are paid for in advance. Fees are the same as with in-office visits. Therapy is highly goal-oriented and tends to be short-term.

Although you are welcome to call at any time, the best time to call for appointments is Monday and Tuesday.
